在高雄地區所分離的病原菌對Kanendomycin之敏感性試驗

摘要

Kanendomycin (2'-amino-2'-deoxy-kanamycin)爲Streptomyces Kanamyceticus之一種變異菌株所分泌出之新的廣效性抗生素。吾人等爲明瞭此Kanendomycin的抗菌力，利用在本院所分離出的各種病原菌，以單一濃度紙盤法來作抗生素的敏感性試驗。同時與其他抗生素作比較。其結果如下：在1,010個被試驗菌株中，對Kanendomycin具敏感性者在Staphylococci aureus: 93.9%, Group A streptococci: 100%, E.Coli: 53.8%, Enterobacter aerogenes: 64.8%, Shigella flexneri: 100%, Proteus: 45.0%, Alcaligenes faecalis: 60%, Pseudomonas aeruginosa: 16.0%。從以上之生體外試驗結果顯示大部份的病原菌對Kanendomycin有強力的敏感性，可應用於細菌性傳染病的治療上。

The new broad spectrum antibiotic, Kanendomycin (2’-amino-2’-deoxy-kana-mycin) is isolated and purified from the mutant of Streptomyces kanamyceticus. In order to understand its in vitro antibacterial effect, we performed its sensitivity test with the strains which were isolated from our bacteriology laboratory during the year of 1973. The sensitivity test was performed by the single paper disk method. The total number of strains tested were 1,010 including 280 of Staphylococci aureus, 15 of group A Streptococci, 370 of E. coli, 105 of Enterobacter aerogenes, 55 of Shigella flexneri, 80 of Proteus, 30 of Alcaligenes faecalis and 75 of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The antibiotic paper disks were including Kanendomycin, Kanamycin, Penicillin, Ampicllin, Cephaloridine, Nalidixic acid and Gentamicin. The results were summarized as follows.
Among 1,010 strains examined, 65.9% were susceptible to Kanendomycin. The kanendomycin sensitive strains included 93.9% of Staphylococci aureus, 100% of group A streptococci, 53.8% fo E．coli, 64.8% of Enterobacter aerogenes, 100% of Shigella flexneri, 45.0% of Alcaligenes faecalis, and 16.0% of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
