摘要
一個三歲女孩因家中經營鉛電池工廠，與鉛接觸頻繁，故而發生鉛中毒。其表現之臨床症狀為：性情激燥、面無表情、嘔吐、貧血以及牙齦出現鉛線。長骨X光片亦有清晰之鉛線可查，血及尿中鉛濃度升高，尿中porphobilinogen呈強陽性。此病例經EDTA (edathamil calcium disodium), BAL (2, 3-dimercaptopropanol)及d-penicilamine治療後，症狀獲得改善。病人之父母及哥哥血鉛濃度亦均達中毒界限，其兄於接受治療後血鉛顯著降低。

A 3-year-old girl who had long history of exposure to lead was admitted to the hospital with vomiting, irritability, apathy, anemia and lead line at the gums. Roentgenographic evidence of increased densities at the ends of long bones and excessive concentration of lead in the urine and blood were demonstrated. The parents and an elder brother also proved to have high blood lead levels. The patient and the brother were treated with EDTA, BAL, d-penicillamine with good chemical and clinical responses.
