左心房粘液瘤合併腦栓塞之一病例
Left Atrial Myxoma Complicated with Cerebral Embolization-A Case Report

摘要
心臓腫瘤爲小兒科罕見的病例，其中以左心房粘液瘤最多。本文報告一個13歲女孩的病例，因腦栓塞而來住院，經超音波心圖及心臓血管攝影檢查後診斷爲左心房腫瘤，經開刀切除後，病人情況良好。病理檢查爲粘液瘤。

We present a 13-year-old girl who suffered from an episode of transient syncope and twitching of the face about one month ago, and had sudden loss of consciousness associated with right hemiparalysis one day prior to admission. CT scan of the brain revealed an area of softening at the left temporal lobe. Echocardiography and angiocardiography revealed a tumor mass in the left atrium. At open heart surgery, a tumor mass of the size of 6.5×6×2cm arising from the left atrial septum was excised. The tumor was later histologically proved to be myxoma.
