小兒氣喘猝死：一病例報告
Sudden Death in Childhood Bronchial Asthma: Report of One Case
摘要
小兒支氣管性氣喘之死亡病例極為罕見，其中猝死者更是少見。本文報告一位八歲男童，自五歲時即常有氣喘發作，嚴重時，則服用β2-agonist及Aminophylline。病童上學情況不錯，於死亡前兩天，氣喘發作，經口服藥物控制，症狀減輕，死前當日並無異狀，於下午約五時左右，病童正在看電視，突然從電視機前跳起，倒地後嘴唇發紺，呼吸停止，於送到本院時，瞳孔放大，對光無反應，呼吸及心跳均已停止，經急救後使用呼吸器三小時後，不治死亡。

Sudden death from childhood bronchial asthma is very rare in Taiwan. This is a case report of an eight-year-old boy who had been a victim of bronchial asthma since age five. He attained school regularly. Two days before death, he suffered from dyspnea, but the symptoms were relieved by oral drugs of β2-agonist and aminophylline. The drugs usually administered when he had attacks. Unfortunately he jumped and fell when he watched TV with his family at about 5 o'clock in the afternoon. He was cyanotic with apnea. He expired in spite of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for three hours in our hospital.
