摘要

於文獻上很少有病例報告因放置中央靜脈導管，因而産生全心臓炎(包括：心內膜炎，心肌炎，和心包膜炎)此致命的副作用。
我們報告一位極度早産兒，因放置中央靜脈導管於右心 房，因而造成全心臓炎，病人的臨床表現爲敗血症，肺栓塞，和心臓衰竭，此病例強調臨床醫師須小心地監視放置中央靜脈導管的位置，以避免其造成不良的負面作用，一旦病人懷疑有心內膜炎時，心臓超音波可以作爲早期診斷的工具。

We report a rare complication of pancarditis in an extreme premature neonate with a peripheral inserted central venous catheter which was positioned in the right atrium. She showed a picture of sepsis, pulmonary embolism, and heart failur. This case emphasizes the need for careful monitoring of the neonate with a central venous catheter to eliminate possible sequel. Echocardiography may help in making an early diagnosis of endocarditis in neonates.
