園藝作物野生近緣種地理資訊系統之建置與應用展望

Establishment and Application Prospect of the Geographic Information System for the Wild Relatives of Horticultural Crops

摘要


本研究目的旨在建立台灣的園藝作物野生近緣種地理資訊系統,係針對園藝作物野生近緣種提供地理資訊及特性資料查詢。系統架構利用WebGIS軟體開發,建構地理資料數據庫,以及物種影像與基本特性資料,累計建置44科200種園藝作物野生近緣種的物種數位資料與地理分布資訊,方便研究人員、農民和民眾對園藝作物野生近緣種的查詢及利用,也期望本系統的建置能有助於台灣園藝作物遺傳資源之保育與永續利用。

This study aims to establish an information system for the wild relatives of Taiwan's horticultural crops with geographic information system, providing an access to geographic information and characteristics data. The WebGIS software developers take advantage of the system architecture to construct geographic information databases, as well as the basic characteristics of the species images and information. Currently the system has included 200 species in 44 families of the wild relatives of horticultural crops. The geographical distribution of digital data and information can facilitate the inquiry and utilization of the wild relatives of horticultural crops for researchers, farmers and others. It is expected that this system can help to conserve and sustain the utilization of genetic resources of horticultural crops in Taiwan.
