某外科加護病房實施一般性廢棄物減量與資源回收之成效

今日環保意識逐漸抬頭，但垃圾減量、資源回收工作成效不彰且面臨執行上種種的困難，環保議題未來勢將有增無減，我們應帶動環保工作之落實，發揮群策群力的精神，配合政府，共同解決垃圾問題，確實垃圾分類，落實資源回收，來改善環境並提昇照護品質。就本專案現況中發現：政策的推行、設備的不足、人員工作的便利性是直接影響一般廢棄物過量之原因，本專案藉由下列改善措施便可降低一般廢棄物的重量：（一）資源回收策的推行，（二）增設資源回收辦法與原則，（三）增設不同功能的回收器，（四）宣導人員自備餐盒及購物袋。改善後，確實降低了員工一般性廢棄物量由平均15.18公斤／天降低至11.4公斤／天，紙類回收由0公斤增加到平均17.2公斤／12床／週，夾鏈袋回收重複使用而取代嘔吐袋的使用，其使用量由平均19捲／月減少到9捲／月，平均每月節省了病房成本395元，進而達到「之原則。

Efforts to reduce the amounts of garbage produced and increase the recycling of reusable waste have had limited success. The motive of this article is to promote the recycling of reusable waste in intensive care units. In this study we found out that policy promotion, insufficient facilities and personal inconvenience are the keys which affect such a program. In this study we intended to emphasize the following steps in order to reduce the amount of general waste (1) successfully carry out the strategy of resource reclamation; (2) put in place rules and principles for resource reclamation; (3) set up a monitoring system; and (4) persuade employees to use their own eating utensils and shopping bags. After encouraging and promoting the practice of nursing members using their own eating utensils, the amount of regular garbage produced by a single nursing member has decreased from 15.18 kilograms per day to 11.4 kilograms per day. The recycling of waste paper has increased from 0 kilograms to an average of 17.2 kilograms per week per 12 beds. The recycling of zipper bags has taken the place and usage of vomit bags, while their amount has decreased from 19 rolls per month to 9 rolls per month. Overall, there is now a saving of approximately $395 per ward per month and a stronger understanding of practicing the principle of waste reduction.
