機構住民之認知訓練介入

Cognitive Training Interventions for Institutionalized Residents

摘要


台灣已邁入老人國,老年人口日益趨增,預測未來長期照護體系蓬勃發展,而機構住民認知缺損的問題普遍存在,認知功能影響住民的照護能力及身體功能,故無論以預防或治療的觀點而言,均顯示推展認知訓練實務對機構住民的重要。本文探討老人認知功能訓練的概念,並簡介機構相關之認知訓練實務應用,期望建立機構照護人員對老人認知功能訓練之初步概念,並運用於臨床實務,以促進機構住民之照護品質。

Taiwan has already advanced into a country of the aged, with the population of senior citizens increasing day by day. The system of long-range care is predicted to prosper in the future. But impairment of the cognitive functions of institutional residents is prevalent. Cognitive function influences the ability to care for, and the physical functions of , residents, so no matter if the perspectives are prevention or treatment, popularizing the practice of cognitive training of residents is important. This article deals with the concept of cognitive training of senior citizens, and outlines the practical application of institution-related cognitive training, in anticipation of establishing an initial concept of cognitive training of senior citizens among care personnel in institutions, with application to clinical practice, to promote care quality for institutionalized residents.
