This is a 16-year-old female who has suffered from rosacea for 4 years. Her face has been covered with erythematous patches on her face, accompanied with papules, pruritus. She visited several local dermatological and Traditional Chinese Medicine clinics but there was no significant improvement. Her symptoms can be controlled by Western medicine in recent six months and she visited the clinics regularly for help, but the symptoms will relapse without regular medical control. About a week before her first visit on 102/12/31 in our hospital, the patient skipped her regular visit in the dermatological clinic. She then suffered from severe attack a few days before 102/12/31. Therefore she visited our hospital for help. Accompanied with taking antibiotics and topical ointment, we use warming yang formulas as treatment protocols after inspection, auscultation, olfaction, inquiry and palpation,. Her symptom was improved by this protocols in three weeks, so we presented this case for clinical reference.
