A New Species of Emarginula (Gastropoda:Fissurellidae) from Taiwan

台灣產的裂螺一新種（腹足綱：裂螺科）

摘要

A new species of Fissurellidae is described and named as Emarginula jungcheni. This new species is discovered from the intertidal and subtidal zones of northern and northeastern rocky shores of Taiwan. The selenizone of the new species is convex as a ridge, it is unique in the genus. The holotype and paratype are deposited in the National Taiwan Museum in Taipei.

近年來，在台灣北海岸和東北角的岩石海岸，在潮間帶和潮下帶的環境中，我們發現了一種不知名的裂螺貝殼，經作者和鍾柏生先生詳细討論，可能是裂螺的一新種，今以本文描述之。因為鐘柏生先生及其夫人陳綠蓉女士，提供了正副模式標本及其他相關標本，供作者詳細研究，故本新種貝殼將命名為鍾陳氏裂螺（Emarginula jungcheni n.sp.），以感謝他們兩位。此新種貝殼呈卵形的笠形，淡黃色或灰綠色，殼頂略向後彎，殼表具有強放射肋，殼口邊緣有齒刻，有一短而窄的裂縫，早期的裂縫帶形成一條凸稜，是其特徵，殼長可達10 mm。和牠相似的雜班裂螺（Emarginula punctata）具有紫褐色斑點，故容易區別。另一相似的彩色裂螺（Emarginula variegata）貝殼暗褐色有白斑，故也容易區別。正模式標本（7.25mm X 5.0mm）和副模式標本（7.75mm X 5.5mm）保存於台北市的國立台灣博物館。
