Microsveltia chinhuii n. sp. and Microsveltia radii n. sp. from Taiwan (MOLLUSCA: GASTROPODA: CANCELLARIIDAE)

臺灣近海清輝核螺新種與明輝核螺新種之研究

摘要

Two new species belonging to the CANCELLARIIDAE are described from Taiwan and assigned to the genus Microsveltia. These new species, Microsveltia chinhuii n. sp. and Microsveltia radii n. sp., distributes in deep water off Taiwan ranging from the Pratas Islands in South China Sea and to East China Sea off Keelung. Both new species are white, slender and ornamented with sharply angulated and strongly elevated and rounded axial ribs. Microsveltia chinhuii n. sp. is the largest species in Microsveltia.

作者於臺灣近海軟體動物門腹足綱動物相，提出二個核螺科CANCELLARIIDAE，Microsveltia屬之新種。此二新種分布於南臺灣東沙島海域深海及北臺灣東中國海深海，殼色象牙白，殼層具急劇轉折及明顯隆起之縱肋。其中清輝核螺新種為該Microsveltia屬最大的物種。清輝核螺（新種，Microsveltia chinhuii n. sp.），正模式標本NMNS-8277-001。明輝核螺（新種，Microsveltia radii n. sp.），正模式標本NMNS-8277-002。正模式標本存放國立自然科學博物館。
