摘要

由高麗環頸雉（Phasianus colchicus karpowi）小腸上段及盲腸段分離到兩株球蟲，經芽胞化後鑑定為Eimeria屬球蟲。將此兩株球蟲與已鑑定之雞球蟲Eimeria acervulina及Eimeria tenella以隨機增殖多形性DNA眾合酶連鎖反應、（random amplified polymorphic DNA polymerase chain reaction; RAPD-PCR），進行DNA指紋鑑定，並以瓊膠電泳分析其指紋圖譜，結果4株球蟲具有明顯不同之DNA指紋，顯示其為不同種之球蟲。

Two isolates of coccidia were identifed as Eimeria sp. from the intestine and cecum of the ring-necked pheasant. The DNA fingerprint from these two isolates of coccidia from ring-necked pheasant were compared with Eimeria acervulina and Eimeria tenella by using RAPD-PCR (random amplified polymorphic DNA-polymerase chain reaction) method. The resulting data showed differences between coccidia of pheasant and coccidia of chicken in the electrophoretic profiles when analysed with RAPD-PCR in terms of four different species of coccidia being identified.
