梅雨鋒面所伴隨之低層噴射氣流和臺灣地區豪雨之關係

An Analysis of the Relationship between the Low-Level Jet Stream and the Heavy Rainfall during the Mei-Yu Season in Taiwan

摘要


本文採用臺灣梅雨期之十年資料分析低層噴射氣流與豪雨之關係,發現低層噴射氣流之軸線位置大約在800~700毫巴之高度處;梅雨期間,若梅雨鋒面伴有發展良好的低層噴射氣流則臺灣地區將會出現豪雨;而北部之豪雨區大部分是出現在低層噴射氣流軸之南北各100公里的範圍內,南部則在其南側200公里之區域內。

Ten-year data (1968-1977) are used to analyse the low-level jet stream in the Mei-Yu system near Taiwan. We also analyse the relationship between the low-level jet stream and the heavy rainfall during the Mei-Yu Season in Taiwan.The results indicate:1) The axis of the low-level jet stream exists within 800-700mb level.2) The heavy rainfall during the Mei-Yu Season in Taiwan is usually associated with a well-developed low-level jet stream.3) In the northern area of Taiwan, the heavy rainfall occurs within the band of 100km to the north and to the south of the axis of the low-level jet stream; while in the southern area of Taiwan, it occurs within the band of 200km to the south of low-level jet stream.
