堆肥場異味生物控制效能評估

Assessment of the Efficiency of the Bio-deodorization at an Animal Farm Compost Field

台灣地區有許多禽畜養殖場,累積大量的禽畜排泄物若無有效的污染防治設備加以處理,往往會造成嚴重的空氣污染,異味四處飄散,影響週遭學校及住宅之空氣品質。為解決此問題,本研究於豬糞堆肥場及固液分離池以塑膠帆布包覆,架設集氣管將臭氣導致生物處理反應器,去除豬隻排泄物臭味之溢散。脫臭設備完工運轉後,堆肥場異味逸散明顯改善。堆肥場內部臭味濃介於193~250間,平均為214;堆肥場外離堆肥場2 m處之臭味濃度則為41~67之間,平均值為57;至距堆肥場80 m養豬場周界濃度則僅有16~38。由堆肥場內逸散至場外之異味已降低約73%,至養豬場周界則已減少90%。且除臭設備開始試車運轉後,初期NH3及H2S之處理效率分別為55%及50%,隨微生物逐漸生長穩定後,處理效率逐漸增加,NH3之去除率達80%以上,而H2S去除率亦可達70%以上。

There are many animal farms closely setup around the urban areas in Taiwan. If there is no efficient equipment to prevent and control the odor pollution from animal's excrement, it will often cause the serious air pollution problem. The peculiar smell, mostly from NH3 and H2S, emit to everywhere and influence the air quality of the surrounding areas. In order to solve this problem, this research sets up and carries out a biological-based facility at a compost field to remove the odor from pig excrements. Results showed that when the Bio-deodorization facility is in operation, the odor concentrations reduced significantly in compared with before the facility was set up. In the compost field, the odor concentrations ranged between 193 and 250 with a mean of 214. The odor concentration of the 2 meter area near the compost field was 41 to 67 with the average of 57. And it was 16 to 38 at pig farm boundary areas where it was 80 meter away from the compost field. In conclusion, the odor concentration reduced by 73% in the 2 meter area of the compost field, and it was reduced by 90% in the boundary of the pig farm in compare with before the Bio-deodorization facility operated. During the Bio-deodorization facility operated, the initial efficiency of NH3 and H2S deodorization was 55% and 50%, respectively. Gradually the facility microorganism growing steadily, the treatment efficiency increased and the deodorization efficiency of NH3 was over 80% and the H2S removal efficiency was over 70%.
