木材原料處理對其粒片板性質之影響

摘要


本實驗乃利用速生樹種之低價值原料,如泡桐之邊皮材及薩爾瓦多銀合歡之疏伐小徑木等,經不同處理而為粒片物,供製造粒片板之試材。由粒片板之性質而分析各原料處理方法之優劣。得知泡桐原料以P_2之處理方法較理想。即將泡桐邊皮材浸水3小時後,搗切為木片(含水率平均43%),再磨切為粒片物。而薩爾瓦多銀合歡之原料處理,則以L_1為佳。即工廠之鉋片型粒片再經磨切為粒片物者。又當不同材種之粒片物相混合而製造粒片板時,其混合比例為:(1)70 %泡桐+ 30 %杉木;或(2)50%泡桐+ 50 %薩爾瓦多銀合歡;或(3)30%薩爾瓦多銀合歡+ 70 %杉木。若以鴨脚木長薄片型粒片製造建築用粒片板時,其密度至少0. 58 g/ cm^3。

In this experiment the low- grade materials from fast- growth species, such as slabs of Paulownia (waste of sawmill) and small logs of Leucaena (from thinning opera tion), were treated by various methods and then cut into par tides Particleboard fabricated from these particle s were tested to study the effect of trea tment methods and particle cutting on the board properties. For Paulownia, it seems that the group of slabs soaked in water for 3 hours and then cut into chips > (average moisture content is 43 %) and further chipped into par ticles showed better properties than other groups. For Leucaena, the board made from the saving particles and then reduced by ring flaker has the edge. If the particleboard fabricated with the mixed particles from different species, that favorable mixed ratio seems to be either: 1 ) 70 % Paulownia+ 30 % Cutminghamia; or 2) 50 % Paulownia+ 50 % Leucaena; or 3) 30% Leucaena+ 70 % Cunninghamia. Finally. to manufacture structural flakeboard from Schefflera as construction panels, its density should be at least 0.58 g/ cm^3.
