柳杉實生苗與插條苗林木生長的研究

Studies on the Growth of Seed Plant and Vegetative Plant Cryptemeria in Taiwan

摘要


本研究是根據柳杉實生苗與插條苗林木人工永久試驗樣區歷年實測資料,探討兩種林木的生長過程,以及分析不同就說方法對於兩種林木生長的影響。兩種的林木生長量及林分構成狀態皆甚相似。因此,本研究特別將林木生長資料使用非綫性最小二乘法配合貝爾陀蘭斐生長模式,從生長關係母數研判兩種林木的生長過程,結果顯示在26年生前,皆無任何差異存在。此外,又就兩種林木樹高對胸高直徑的實驗式進行比較,與一般台灣產柳杉的完全相似,但兩種林木間尚無差異。本研究期望能夠繼續進行,今後定期發表研究報告。

This is the fourth report of the results of a project, based on the periodic measurements of permanent s ample plots that were established in, the Experimental Forest of National Taiwan University, to study the growth of seed plant and vegetative plant Cryptomeria. Both the growth of trees and the stand structure for seed plant and vegetative plant Cryptomeria showed no significant difference until 26 years of stand age. In this study, therefore, the Bertalanffy mode l was fitted to the volume growth data of trees. The fitness of growth curves was generally good. The growth characteristics were well ex-plained through the parameters of the Bertalanffy model and no remarkable difference was found in tree spropagated in the two ways Moreover, the empirical equations of height on dbh were calculated for trees originated from seed and vegetative plant. They are similar both in parameter and in curve shape. This study is along -range project. We shall continue to do this study and publish the results periodically.
