滾軋緊張處理對圓鋸片振動特性之効應

摘要


緊張處理(Tensioning)之目的在使圓鋸片外周產生內部引張應力,以便打消高速切割加工時因切削熱所產生之壓縮應力,使鋸片不易發熱挫屈現象,而能穩定運轉,減少噪音,提高加工品質與精度,延長刀具壽命。傳統立鎚擊(Hammering)緊張作業績顧高度之經驗與技能,因熟練的人才極為缺乏,對國產圓鋸片之品質影響甚鉅。有鑑於此,林試所以滾軋緊張方式(Roll tensioning)進行研究,精密分析與鋸片穩定能有關之振動特性,以現代科技評估緊張處理之效果。試驗結果顯示經緊張處理之圓鋸片,其低調共振頻率(節直徑數n=0,1)較無處理者為低,惟高調共振頻率(n≧2)則處理者較無處理者為高。圓鋸片之緊張處理可藉振動分析法作極有殼的評價,對圓鋸片大量生產時之品質管理及生產自動化均極具應用價值。

The objective of tensioning process is to produce tensile stresses on the rim of circular saw blades. This tensile stress can compensate the compressive stress resulted from the heat occurred during high-speed cutting. The tensioned saw blades produce a stable operation and an accurate cutting. Hammering, a traditional tensioning process, requires highly sophisticated experience and technique. The quality of locally produced saw blades is significantly reduced due to the lack of skilled hammering operator. A research on roll tensioning process was conducted in Taiwan Forestry Research Institute. The vibration characteristics associated with the stability of saw blades were analyzed of tensioning process on saw blades were also indicate that with tensioning process on saw blades were also investigated. Testing results indicate that with tensioning the natural frequencies for 0 and 1 nodal diameter modes decrease while at the same time the higher nodal diameter mode frequencies increase. The use of vibration analysis in this study provided an effective technique in evaluating the tensioning effects on saw blades. This research is important in quality control during mass production and in facilitating the automation in manufacturing.
