摘要


本研究以相思樹、楓香及台灣杉為試材,分別探討其心邊材之比重、靜曲強度、縱向壓縮強度、橫向壓縮強度、抗剪強度、引張強度、硬度等性質,並以RF膠、UF膠、PVAC膠進行膠合試驗以了解其對此三材種之適用性。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the physical porperties such as specific gravity, bending strength, longitudinal compressive strength, compressive strength prependicular to the grain, tensile strength and hardness of heart wood and sap wood of Taiwan acacia, Formosan sweet gum and Taiwania. The experimental results were summarized as follow: 1. All physical properties were in the order of Taiwan acacia > Formosan sweet gum > Taiwania. 2. The difference of the physical properties between sap wood and heart wood of the same species wood was, sap wood better than heart wood except longitudinal compressive strength for Taiwania, but there were no significant difference for Taiwan acacia and Formosan sweet gum. 3. The physical strength of Formosan sweet gum were greater than Taiwania, but its stress at proportional limit were lower than Taiwania. 4. The bonding strength of Taiwania glued with UF, RF and PVAc abhesives were good at dry ans wet test, but there bonding strength were bad for Taiwan acacia and Formosan sweet gum glued with RF and PVAc adhesives.
