本研究係以舊瓦楞紙箱為原料,製造壁紙原紙,併用外銷用市售窗簾紙原紙進行抗燃性改善效應之探討。以舊瓦榜紙箱再製壁紙原紙,就所得紙樣之強度性質而言相當具有可行性。五種防火劑對紙張抗燃性之改善效應,分別為C型>A型>B製>E型>D型。當炭化長度限制為11.4公分時,本試驗兩種紙張每平方公尺所需防火劑費用,亦以C型為最廉,A型、E型其次,D型、B型則依序更次之。兩種原紙經防火劑浸潰處理後,一般物理性質可獲相當程度之提升。掃描式電顯下,此等不同組成之防火劑於處理過表面之分佈及立體配置各有異趣。
To eliminate the serious disaster of drastic diminution of forest land and consequent environmental destruction, waste paper utilization has received wide acceptance in papermaking industry. The enormous amount of old corrugated carton (OCC) collected in Taiwan was therefore adapted and disintegrated in this study for the feasibility of wall paper manufacturing. The experimental wall base paper and market paper curtain were dipped into five different fire retardants solution. Carbonized length, after-flaming time and after-glowing time were investigated to evaluate the fire-retardance efficiency of the said reagents on these paper products for interior decoration uses. Satisfactory results were obtained. Mechanical properties of the treated samples have obviously been increased. As for as tensile strength is concerned, the treated wall paper made in this study has attained consumers' acceptance. The dipped papers were has examined under SEM to demonstrate the distribution pattern of different fire retardants.
