低聚合體對紫外光硬化壓克力塗料耐久性之影響

摘要


紫外光硬化壓克力塗料配方會影響其耐久性,本試驗之研究目的為探討不同壓克力低聚合體對塗膜性質與塗裝櫟木耐久性之影響,所試驗的低聚合體有芳香族PU類壓克力、脂肪族PU類壓克力、環氧類壓克力及矽酮類壓克力樹脂等四種。經過24天加速耐光試驗後,以芳香族PU類壓克力塗裝試材之光黃化最明顯,脂肪族PU、環氧類及矽酮類壓克力塗裝試材之黃化較輕微。在人工加速耐候試驗中,矽酮類與環氧類壓克力塗膜卻較早剝落,這是因為穿透矽酮類與環氧類塗膜的紫外光強度明顯地大於其他塗膜,使得塗膜與木材界面劣化較嚴重所致;矽酮類與脂肪族PU類塗裝櫟木之色差值大於芳香族PU類與環氧類塗料塗裝櫟木,其原因為凝結水將芳香族PU類壓克力塗膜的劣化產物洗去所致。

The durability of UV-curable acrylic coating should be affected by its different formulations. The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of acrylic oligomers on the film properties and durability of oak coated with UV-curable acrylic coatings. There are four oligomers examined, including aromatic urethane acrylate, aliphatic urethane acrylate, epoxy acrylate and silicone acrylate. After light fastness test, it reveals that oak coated with aromatic urethane acrylic coating is susceptiable to yellowing induced by light. The slighter yellowing of oak coated with aliphatic urethane acrylate, epoxy acrylate and silicone acrylate are observed. However, films of epoxy acrylate and silicone acrylate show poor flaking resistance after accelerated weathering test. It is because that the intensity of ultraviolet light penetrating epoxy and silicone acrylic clear films are stronger than aromatic urethane acrylic film, and the stronger light reaching the interface between film and wood would cause more severe degradation. The color differences of oaks coated with aliphatic urethane and with silicone epoxy coating, after accelerated weathering test, are larger than oak coated with aromatic urethane coating. It is demonstrated that colored degradation derivatives is leached out by condensed water in accelerated weathering test.
