木理傾斜角對木材壓縮、硬度與噴砂特性之影響

Effects of Grain Angle on the Compressive strength, Hardness and Sandblasting Properties of Five Wood Species

摘要


本研究係探討木理傾斜角對其壓縮,硬度及噴砂特性之影響,並探究強度及噴砂特性之相關性。結果可歸納於次:(1)五種木材之木理傾斜角(0°~90°)對壓縮強度,壓縮彈性係數及硬度之影響相當顯著,其關係均可以Hankinson's formula表示,而該式之最適n值;壓縮強度為1.9~2.6,壓縮彈性係數為2~3,硬度為1.1~2.0。(2)五種木材之木理傾斜角對其噴砂特性之影響並無一定趨勢。(3)在同一木理傾斜角試材,其壓縮強度,壓縮彈性係數及硬度與其氣乾比重有正線性相關。(4)在同一木理傾斜角試材,其壓縮強度與壓縮彈性係數之間,又壓縮強度與硬度之間,均有正線性相關存在。

The effects of grain angle on the compressive strength, hardness and sandblasting properties of five wood species were studied, and the correlation between strength and sandblasting properties were also discussed. The experimental results are summarized as follows: (1) The compressive strength (σ_c) , modulus of elasticity in compression (Ee) and hardness (H_B) of five wood species were significantly affected by their grain angle (θ) of specimens (θ ranged form 0° to 90°). Their relationships could be represented by Hankinson's for formula, and the accurate values of n for that formula were, 1.9~2.6 for σ_c, 2~3 for Ec and 1.1~2.0 for H_B, respectively. (2) The sandblasting behavior of five wood species were not significantly affected by their grain angle (θ) of specimens, and it also showed no constant tendency. (3) In the same grain angle group including 0°~90° specimens , the relation-ships among σ_c, Ec, and H_B, and specific gravity under air dry condition (r_u) could be expressed by the positively linear equations. (4) In the same grain angle group including 0°~90° specimens, the correlation between σ_c and Ec, and σ_c and H_B also could be represented by positively linear equation, respectively.
