摘要

在1980年代之前，我國家具業者以優良技術生產木製家具外銷，會享有家具王國之地位。近年來自於遭遇諸多不利因素之衝擊，其生產值在1986年為294億元，至1995年減為192億元，十年來下降約35%。我國木製家具之原料90%仰賴進口，針對所面臨之木材取得日益困難之問題，極應拓展新材料以節省實質木材，但以行銷學之觀點，若開發推出新產品，必然是要因應消費者之需求，本家其消費調查主要目的即為瞭解將木材廢（舊）料回收，經加工美化後當作家具材料，消費者喜好之程度。茲將重要結果摘錄如下：1.本研究受訪者大多為居於中部地區，約16-20歲的專科學生，其家庭所得多數為4-6萬元的勞動生產家庭子女。2.受訪者家庭目前以使用木製家具為主，又受訪者表示，對現有家具的滿意程度評價甚高。3.受訪者表示若選購家具將會優先考慮家具之外觀因素，同時木製家具是他們的最愛。4.對木材廢（舊）料回收，經加工美化，當為家具之材料，青年學生表示能接受的比率居多。

By 1980*s, furniture manufacturers in Taiwan exported a large volumn of wooden furniture and Taiwan had been honored as furniture kingdom. Striking by various factory in recent years, however, our output value of furniture has been in decrease from NT $29.4 billion in 1986 to NT $19.2 billion in 1995; roughly 35% down with in ten years. In Taiwan, more than 90% of the raw material for wooden furniture manufacturing depends upon import. Since the timber is so rare that we should do our best to adopt new material so as to reduce solid wood comsumption. In the light of marketing, on consumers* demand should one develop a brand new product based. This survey aimed at taking an inside view into consumers* penchant for furniture make from recycled wood waste. The results will be summarized as follows: 1. Most the interviewers sampled in this survey are junior college students residing in central Taiwan, aged from 16 to 20. Most of them are from labor families with net income ranges from NT$40,000 to NT$60,000. 2. This survey goes that wooden furniture is most popular in families and users are quite satisfactory about the one they currently used. 3. Based on this survey, if one would like to purchase new furniture, its outlooking would be their first consideration and the wooden furniture would be their favoriate. 4. This survey also shows that the young students have a much higher acceptance capability of furniture make from recycled wood waste.
