台灣杉小徑木之釘接強度研究

Nailing Strength of Lumber from Small Diameter Log of Taiwania

摘要


本研究主要是利用台灣杉之小徑造林木作為研究箱用釘釘接強度的材料,以木結構施工常採之釘16d箱用釘進行試驗,分析不同用釘數對小徑木材的側向引拔抵抗效能,並探討台灣杉不同生長部位之影響以及接合部位之滑動量與載重關係。試驗結果顯示小徑原木在基部之試材,其接合部位倒向引拔抵抗值隨用釘數增加而提高,平均每增加一支釘可提高96%,同時優于小徑原木端部及大徑原木試材之釘接效果10.1%,其中大徑原木試材對接合效果之改善效果較佳,平均每增加一支釘可以提高126%的釘著能力。小徑木材釘接位置之初始剛性,以基部試材接合時平均每增加一支釘,其剛性較單支釘接合者可以提高一倍;端部試材則提高的%而大徑原木對照試材則提高117%。

The lumber of small-diameter Taiwania log from plantation forest is used as assembling member to investigate the nailing performance in this study. The influence of number of 16d box nail used and position of tree trunk on the lateral resistance were analyzed. The values of lateral resistance of nail substrates cut from base portion of log is 10.1% higher than that cut from top portion of small diameter of log and from large diameter of log. The values of lateral resistance of nail joint for which the nail substrates cut from base portion of log is increased every 96% in average as the 16d box nail used from one, two, three, four, to five nails in a row. While the improvement of every 126% per nail increased can be found for the specimens cut from large diameter of Taiwania log. The values of initial rigidity for nail joint is doubled as each nail added for the nail substrates cut from base portion of small diameter of log. While the initial rigidity of nail joint assembled with each additional box nail up to five nails in a row have averaged 89% and 117% increment for the nail substrates cut from top portionof small diameter of log and from large diameter of log, respectively.
