PU催化劑對PU-NC Semi-IPNs木器塗料性質之影響

Effects of PU Catalyst on the Properties of PU-NC SemiI- PNs Wood Coatings

摘要


本研究係以吹製型篦麻油(BCO)、芳香族聚異氰酸鹽(PTDI)、硝化纖維素(NC)等為原料,在NCO/OH莫耳比為1.0、1.2,及各種PU/NC重量此為100/0、70/30、50/50及30/70之條件下,合成各種PU-NC半互穿聚合體網狀結構物(Semi-LPNs),作為木器塗料使用,探討添加PU催化劑月桂酸二丁基錫(DBTDL)對塗料及塗膜性質之影響。試驗結果發現,在NCO/OR=1.2之PU中,DBTDL之添加量為0.3%者(對BCO重量比),其塗料與塗膜性質最能取得均衡,故以此作為PU- NCSemi-LPNs之試驗依據。在PU-NC Semi-LPNs塗料中,添加0.3%DBTDL,除可以縮短NCO/OH=1.0、PU/NC=70/30者之乾燥時間外,其餘未見明顯效果。在塗膜性質方面,不論何種配方,均可以提升拉伸強度,改善附著性,並稍為增加玻璃轉移溫度,但對耐光性及光澤保留率則有負面的效果。

The semi-interpenetrating polymer networks (semi-IPNs) made from blown castor oil (BCO) based polyurethane (PU) and nitrocellulose (NC) under NCO/ OR=1.0, 1.2 (molar ratio) and PU/ NC=100/ 0, 70/ 30, 50/ 50, 30/ 70 (by weight) respectively, were prepared for wood coatings. To investigate the effects of catalyst on the properties of PU-NC semi-IPNs wood coatings, dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTDL) was selected as PU catalyst in this study. The results reveal that when the dosage of DBTDL is 0.3%, the coating and film properties of PU (NCO/ OR=1.2 ) are more balanced than those using others dosage. The drying time of coatings can not be shortened by adding 0.3% DBTDL to all kinds of PU-NC semi-lPNs, except the one with NCO/ OR=1.0 and PU/ NC=70/ 30. Although the adhesion, tensile strength, and glass transition temperature of all kinds of PU- NC semi-IPNs films can be enhanced, the lightfastness and gloss retention of films were inferior to those without DBTDL.
