紫外線硬化型含磷聚胺基甲酸酯變性丙烯酸樹脂之合成、塗膜性質及耐燃性能

Synthesis of UV Curable Phosphorus-Containing Acrylated Polyurethane Resins and Their Film and Fire Retardant Propercies

摘要


本研究係以聚丙二醇(Polypropylene glycol, PPG)、磷酸(Phosphoric acid, PA)、2, 4-甲苯二異氰酸鹽(2, 4-Toluene diisocyanate, TDI)及羥乙基丙烯酸酯(Hydroxyethyl acrylate, HEA)等原料,合成十二種含有不同磷量、羥基量之紫外線硬化型含磷聚胺基甲酸酯變性丙烯酸樹脂(UV curable phosphorus-containing acrylated polyurethane resins, PAPU),以探討其相關物性及耐燃性能。結果得知,所調配之塗料,形成塗膜後均為透明狀,其光澤度介於86~95%間、附著性介於8~10點間、硬度最高可達4H。而各塗膜之吸濕量介於0~0.029g間,並隨樹脂分子中羥基及磷含量增加而增高,但皆符合CNS 8629之規定。從塗膜之動態機械分析(DMA)得知,樹脂之玻璃轉移溫度(Tg)介於-32~41℃間。又知其儲存模數(E')及韌性亦隨交聯密度增加而有變大之趨勢;機械阻尼(tanδ)最大值介於0.72~0.90間,皆屬於高阻尼材料。塗膜經CNS 6532表面燃燒性試驗後,塗膜最大膨脹高度介於7~35mm,為其塗膜本身厚度之20~100倍,tdθ值介於0.0~3.2℃.min之間,遠低於CNS 6532耐燃三級所要求的350℃.min之標準,顯示出含磷樹脂燃燒時具有低發熱量及不易著火之特性。

This study was based on twelve types of UV curable phosphorus-containing acrylated polyurethane resins (PAPU) which were synthesized from polypropylene glycol (PPG) , phosphoric acid (PA), 2,4-toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA) . The objective of this study was to investigate these related characteristics and their flame retardant performances. The results showed that the appearance of the compounded coating for twelve types of resins was transparent after their film formation. The gloss level for all coating film ranged from 86 % to 95 % and the adhesion levels were from 8 to 10. The maximum degree of hardness reached 4 H. The amount of absorption for each film ranged from 0 to 0.029 g. It increased with increasing level of phosphorus content and OH group increased, and they all could pass the CNS 8629 standards. The glass transition temperatures (Tg) of P134 series resins were between -32 and 41℃ after the tests of dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). It indicated that the higher the resin crosslinking density, the higher the Tg was. The storage modulus (E') and the toughness of resin film became greater because the crosslinking density increased. The maximum values of mechanical damping (tanδ) for twelve types of resins were between 0.72 and 0.90. Therefore, they were higher damping materials. The maximum height of intumescent for all synthesized resins increased from 7 to 35 mm and about 20 to 100 times of the original film thickness after CNS 6532 tests. The values of tde were from 0.0 to 3.2 °C‧ min and lower than CNS 6532 standards of 350 °C‧ min. It indicated that the characteristics of phosphorus-containing resin had lower exothermal capacity and non-combustibility.
