放射松和柳桉合板之U型釘的側向引拔強度

Lateral Withdrawal Strength of Staple Joints of Radiata Pine and Lauan Plywood

摘要


U型釘因為施工快速,所以普遍的使用在包襯家具和抽屜的製造。本研究探討單支U型釘接合之釘冠寬和釘冠角度對放射松及柳桉合板側向引拔強度的影響,另探討多支釘在放射松合板接合之釘數和釘入深度對放射松合板側向引拔強度的影響。實驗結果顯示,在單支U型釘的場合,柳桉合板的側向引拔強度值高於放射松合板的側向引拔強度值,釘冠寬為4 mm的引拔強度略高於釘冠寬為10 mm的側向引拔強度。在10 mm釘冠寬的場合,側向引拔強度會隨釘冠角度的增加而直線減少,但在4 mm釘冠寬時卻未必如此。釘冠角度的影響則會隨樹種而異,在柳桉合板中,單支U型釘的側向引拔強度的大小順序為0° > 45° > 90°,但在放射松的場合,則三種不同釘冠角度的側向引拔強度並沒有顯著的差異。在多支U型釘的試驗中,無論釘數為2或3,接合的側向引拔強度隨著釘入深度從7、10遞增到13 mm時,會顯著地增加,而且各有一直線關係。在相同的釘入深度下,3支釘的側向引拔強度會高於2支釘的側向引拔強度。

The staple is one of the most frequently used fasteners for joining structural members in upholstered furniture and drawers making. Single-staple jointed specimens were used to study the effects of crown width, crown angle and wood species (radiata pine and lauan) on the lateral withdrawal strength of plywood. Multiple-staple jointed specimens of radiata pine with crown width of 4 mm were used to study the effect of the number of staples and depth of staple penetration on the lateral withdrawal strength. The lateral withdrawal strengths of lauan plywood were higher than those of radiata pine plywood. The lateral withdrawal strengths of crown width of 4 mm were higher than those of crown width of 10 mm. For the case of crown width of 10 mm, the lateral withdrawal strengths linearly decreased with the increase of crown angles. But, this trend was not found for the case of crown width of 4 mm. The lateral withdrawal strengths of lauan plywood decreased with the increase of crown angles. However, the withdrawal strengths associated various crown angles for radiata pine plywood were not different significantly. The withdrawal strength of two-staple and tlrree-staple jointed specimens linearly increased with the increase of the staple penetrations with different slopes. The lateral withdrawal strengths of three-staple jointed specimens were higher than those of two-staple jointed specimens for the same penetration depth.
