水性高分子-異氰酸酯系膠合劑應用於木材之膠合

Water Based Polymer-Isocyanate Adhesive for Wood

摘要


本研究旨在探討非甲醛系統膠合劑應用於集成材、合板製造之膠合適性。試驗所使用之水性高分子異氰酸酯系膠合劑(Water based polymer isocyanate system adhesive),乃是以水性乳膠(Latex)和水溶性高分子溶液(聚乙烯醇、聚醋酸乙烯、甲基纖維素)之混合液為主劑。另添加含有-NCO基異氰酸鹽之化合物PU交聯劑,所組成的一種膠合劑。據試驗結果顯示,使用水性高分子異氰酸酯系膠合劑之木質加工製品,其甲醛含量為零,不僅能全面改善木材膠合劑釋出甲醛之問題,同時製造之集成材耐水性及膠合強度均可符合木材膠合劑JISK-6806(2003)之合格標準;普通合板亦可符合CNS-1349(1998)Type-I之合格標準。由於此膠合劑之可使用時間可長達3hr,更符合生產線上之實用性及經濟性。

The purpose of this study is to investigate a process for making laminated wood, plywood, using the non-formaldehyde system adhesive, such as water based polymer synthetic rubber-isocyanate system adhesive. The base resins were combined by using Latex water soluble and Polyvinyl Alcohol, Polyvinyl Acetate, Methyl Cellulose, etc water based polymer mixing solution, and addition suitable ratios of the crosslinking agent, such as isocyanate with-NCO group Pu. The polymer adhesive exhibited excellent binding powder in wood work process. The results of study indicate that water based polymer-PU system adhesive used for wood glue making is effective to produce non-formaldehyde products. The process can solve basic problems of laminated wood and plywood adhesive releasing formaldehyde. Moreover, the polymer adhesive has been made for improving the water resistance, bond strength, and it could also meeting the requirements of laminated wood specified in ITS K-6806 (2003).Using the non-formaldehyde system adhesive in plywood could meet the requirements specified in CNS-1394 (1998) Type-I. Due to the pot life properties is great than 3 hours it can be forward for manufacturing.
