玫瑰桉枝葉精油成分分析與材部製漿適性

本研究以7年生玫瑰桉(Eucalyptur grandis)為材料,試驗目的有二:其一為萃取其枝葉精油,並分析其成分組成;其二為探討其材部以硫酸鹽法製漿之性質,並尋求其最適條件。試驗結果顯示:玫瑰桉枝葉藉由水中蒸餾,其成熟葉之精油含量為1.33%、幼嫩葉1.89%、小枝0.95%、枝葉混合材1.18%(絕乾量,V/W),為提高效率可混合萃取,且蒸餾作業不宜超過3hr。精油使用氣相層析-質譜儀分析顯示:含量較多的成分有22種,主要為α-pinene、p-cymene、limonene、1,8-cineole、α-terpinyl acetate、β-caryophyllene、globulol等。玫瑰桉材部藉由硫酸鹽法製漿,顯示其適當條件為蒸煮溫度170℃、硫化度25%、活性鹼15%、保溫時間90min,其收率可達47.12%,而卡巴值為19.31,白度為26.5%GE。硫酸鹽紙漿經五段漂白(CE_1D_1E_2D_2),白度可達86.0%GE,漂損為6.37%。將玫瑰桉與放射桉混合製漿,則可改善各項紙漿性質。

The main purposes of this study are two fold:to investigate the essential oil content and chemical composition of locally grown 7-year old Eucalyptus grandis leaves; twigs and to probe its pulping characteristics. Kraft pulping process was used in this study, and optimization of the pulping conditions was also studied. The experimental results showed that the essential oil contents of E. grandis, on a volume per oven-dry weight basis, were 1.33, 1.89, 0.95 and 1.18% for mature leaves, tender leaves, twigs and mixed leaves and twigs, respectively. Essential oil recovery was more efficient if the leaves and twigs mixed together with the hydro-distillation (HD) method performed under 3 hr A total of 22 compounds were identified in the essential oil obtained by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.
