水性聚胺基甲酸酯樹脂和水性環氧樹脂混合製作摻合樹脂之性質

The Properties of Blended Resins Prepared by Mixing Waterborne Polyurethane Resin and Waterborne Epoxy Resin

摘要


本研究以聚四甲基醚二醇(Polytetramethylene ether glycol)為多元醇原料,異弗爾酮二異氰酸酯(Isophorone diisocyanate)為異氰酸酯原料,二羥甲基丙酸(Dimethylolpropionic acid)為內部乳化劑,三乙胺(Triethylamine)為中和劑,乙二胺(Ethylenediamine)為鏈延長劑,並採用預聚合法合成水性聚胺基甲酸酯樹脂(Waterborne polyurethane resin;WPU),隨後將WPU樹脂與市售水性環氧樹脂(Epoxy resin;ER)以重量比100/0、100/10、100/20、100/30、100/40混合製備PU/ER摻合樹脂,並探討ER樹脂添加比例對摻合樹脂薄膜性質之影響。由FTIR光譜圖顯示各摻合樹脂薄膜有相似的分子結構。添加ER樹脂可提高PU樹脂薄膜的耐水性及耐溶劑性,而隨ER樹脂添加量增加,摻合樹脂薄膜之拉伸強度及破壞伸長率降低,拉伸模數則提高。DSC及DMA熱分析顯示添加ER樹脂導致PU樹脂分子鏈的熱活動性降低。TGA熱分析則顯示隨ER樹脂添加比例增加,PU/ER摻合樹脂之熱抵抗性提高。硬化後的WPU-ER摻合樹脂具備互穿網狀高分子結構。

In this study, waterborne polyurethane (WPU) resin was prepared by a prepolymerization process by using polytetramethylene ether glycol as the polyol and isophorone diisocyanate as the isocyanate, respectively. Dimethylolpropionic acid, triethylamine and ethylenediamine were used as internal emulsifier, the neutralizer and the chain extender, respectively. WPU resin and commercially prepared waterborne epoxy resin (ER) were mixed at a weight ratio of 100/0, 100/10, 100/20, 100/30 and 100/40 to prepare PU/ER blended resins. The purpose of this study was to investigated the effect of ER resin addition ratio on the properties of a blended resin film. The FTIR spectra showed that all blended resin films had similar molecular structure. The water resistance and solvent resistance of WPU resin film could be improved by adding ER resin. As the amount of ER resin addition increased, the tensile strength and elongation at break of the blended resin films decreased, but the tensile modulus increased. DSC and DMA thermal analysis showed that the addition of ER resin reduced the thermal activity of WPU resin molecular chains. TGA thermal analysis showed that the thermal resistance of PU/ER blended resin increased with the rise of the ER resin addition ratio. The hardened WPU-ER blend resin had an interpenetrating network polymer structure.
