The goal of the survey was to understand heat-resistance plastic bags which were used in heating food whether there were migration toxic substance or not. Two hundred and one samples in the northern Taiwan area were purchased and analyzed. The results of the experiment indicated the 1% of polyethylene-made heat-resistance plastic bags failed to meet the hygenic standard of plastic food utensils, containers and packages. Two samples failed to meet the standard of evaporation residue of 4% acetic acid and water at 95℃ 30'.
