Investigation on the Adulteration of Hexachlorophene, Triclosan, Triclocarban in the Commercial Shampoos

To understand the adulteration of Hexachlorophene, Triclosan, Triclocarban in marketed shampoos, the Bureau purchased thirty case samples in Taiwan area and analyzed them with thin-layer Chromatography and U. V. Spectropholometry. It was found that all samples gave negative results.
