Sensitivity Test of Diagnostic Kits of Hepatitis B

20 Diagnostic kits of Hepatitis B were gathered from different corporations in Taiwan. Among which, 9 kits were domestic and 11 kits were imported, and the sensitivity test was certified by the method of RPHA (Reverse passive Hemagglutination Test), PHA (Passive Hemagglutination Test) and ETA (Enzyme Immunoassay). In this test, only 19 sample (Ca. 95%), included of 9 (Ca. 100%) in domestic samples and 10 (Ca. 90.9%) in imported samples were met the sensitivity requirement of the government regulation.
