Liquid Chromatography, Iodometry and Microbiological Assay Compared for Determination of Ampicillin
摘要
Ampicilin bulk drμs were assayed by microbiological, iodometric and HPLC methods to determine whether the HPLC method is a suitable substitute for the official methods. Statistical F-test was used to assess the equivalence of the paired assay results. No significant intermethod differences were noted for the assay results for each pair. The results indicated the HPLC method is a suitable substitute for the traditionary methods for the determination of Ampicillin bulk drugs.
