國產及進口香菸中尼古丁、焦油及一氧化碳含量監測

為落實菸害防制工作，維護國民健康，92年度依據行政院衛生署公告「香菸中尼古丁及焦油含量之檢到方法」，對市售9種國產及20種進口香菸，共29種品牌進行尼古丁及焦油含量分析。九種國產香菸之尼古丁含量範圍在0.22~1.10mg/支，平均值為0.73mg/支，焦油含量範圍在3.5~13.8mg/支，平均值為10.0mg/支；二十種進口香菸之尼古丁含量範圍在0.28~1.14mg/支，平均值為0.69mg/支，焦油含量範圍在3.7~14.9mg/支，平均值為8.7mg/支，結果均符合我國現行最高含量標準，且均依「菸害防制法」規定以中文標示其尼古丁及焦油含量。92年度建立一氧化碳檢驗方法，並測試國產及進口香菸共14種品牌，三種國產香菸含量範圍在4.95~11.91mg/支，平均值為7.78mg/支，十一種進口香菸含量範圍在3.41~11.52mg/支，平均值為7.78mg/支，每種品牌變異數均小於10.5%。

For executing tobacco hazard control and protecting the health of consumers, 29 brands, including 9 domestic and 20 imported cigarette brands, were analyzed with “Method of test for nicotine and tar in cigarettes' promulgated by Department of Health, Executive Yuan. Nicotine yields of 9 domestic cigarette brands ranged from 0.22 to 1.10 mg/cig and averaged 0.73 mg/cig. Corresponding tar yields ranged from 3.5 to 13.8 mg/cig and averaged 10.4 mg/cig. On the other hand, nicotine yields of 20 imported cigarette brands ranged from 0.28 to 1.14 mg/cig and averaged 0.69 mg/cig. Corresponding tar yields ranged from 3.7 to 14.9 mg/cig and averaged 8.7 mg/cig. The nicotine and tar yields of all the products monitored are in compliance with the maximum limits of nicotine and tar yields set by Dept. of Health. All the amounts of nicotine and tar were labeled on their product containers in Chinese according to the Tobacco Hazards Control Act. The carbon monoxide yield analytical method has been established. The carbon monoxide yields of 14 domestic and imported cigarettes have been tested. The carbon monoxide yields of the 3 domestic cigarette brands ranged from 4.95 to 11.91 mg/cig and averaged 0.78 mg/cig. While carbon monoxide yields of 11 imported cigarette brands ranged from 3.41 to 11.52 mg/cig and averaged 7.78 mg/cig. The coefficient of variation of each cigarette brand is less than 10.5 %.
