摘要

恆春皂莢（Gleditsia rolfei Vidal）為台灣特有種，雌雄異株，屬豆科、蘇木亞科。雄花總狀花序。花芽於三月上旬出現。花藥壁層由一層表皮層、一層內壁層、二至三層中間層及一層營養層構成，其發育形式為基本型。營養層細胞內具一核，為腺質型。小孢子母細胞減數分裂時，胞質同時分裂；形成四面體形小孢子四分體。花粉粒具2細胞，徑幅約25-30μm。五月中、下旬花藥縱裂。

Gleditsia rolfei Vidal is an endemic, dioecious species in Leguminosae, Caesalpinioidea, of Taiwan. Staminate flowers are in racemes. Floral buds are formed in early March. Anther wall is constructed with the epidermis, one layer of endothecium, 2-3 middle layers and one layer of tapetum. Development pattern of anther wall is basic type. Tapetal cells contain one nucleus and are glandular type of characteristics. Microspore mother cells undergo meiosis through simultaneous cytokinesis and give rise to tetrahedral tetrads of microspores. Pollen grains are 2 celled and 25-30 μm in size. Anther is longitudinally dehiscent in mid to late May.
