本文以蓮華池試驗集水區之蓮華池3號集水區(面積3.4公頃)爲對照,蓮華池4號集水區(面積5.86公頃)爲處理,進行林木皆伐對水文歷線特性之影響分析,獲悉平均坡度40%之天然濶葉樹林集水區以架空索道集材作業皆伐處理後第一年,洪峯時間縮短23%,洪峯流量增加24%,最大起伏流量增加12%,基本流量增加7%,顯示森林似有調節流量之功能,減低洪峯流量,延滯洪峯時間。唯濶葉林蒸散作用較其他林地或植生地大,可減低枯木流量供給之效應。本文結果似可適用於相似地形,氣候與林型地區。
The analysis of first year's effects of clearcutting on storm hydrographs in a small hardwoods watershed of central Taiwan was accomplished with the following results: As compared with the control watershed, time to peak decreases 23%, peak flow increases 24%, maximum relief flow increases 12%, and base flow increases 7%. Forest has probably the function of regulating streamflow, decreasing peak flow and delating time to peak. However, hardwoods which experience more evapotranspiration than other type of forest or other cover may reduce the effect of the supply of low flow. Since the effects of clearcutting on storm hydrographs in watershed differ with the different climate and land form, caution must be taken in appling results of this study to other region.
