水滴撞擊剛性表面之數值模擬(一)模擬方法

摘要


水滴撞擊土壤表面過程之力學性質是了解土壤沖蝕及土壤水份滲透過程之重要因素之一。由於實際量測這些物理量有其技術上之困難,所以電腦數值模擬不失為一個值得探討的研究方法。本報告探討以VOF有限差分來解以Navier-Stokes方程組與連續性方程式所組成之統御方程式之可行性。驗證結果顯示,使用此3-D數值模式模擬水滴撞擊有薄水層或無薄水層之剛性表面,效果良好。從數值模擬之結果亦可解讀多種與力學性質相關之數據,對於土壤沖蝕及土壤水份滲透之研究將有莫大助益。至於真實土壤表面特性之模擬則有待更進一步之研究。

The mechanism of water droplet impact is one of the most important key to understand the processes involved in the initial phenomena of soil erosion and soil water infiltration. The computer simulation is a suitable approach to solve this problem due to the difficulty of direct measurements of physical parameters involved in this mechanism. A VOF finite difference scheme was used to solve a set of governing equations which was composed by 3-D full Navier-Stokes equations and continuity equation. The application of this numerical model to simulate water droplet impact on a rigid surface with or without a water layer on it was very satisfactory. Many physical parameters can be interpreted form the results of computer simulation and will be of a great help in soil erosion and soil water infiltration research. However, to simulate actual soil surface properties is an uneasy task which need futher studies.
