六龜試驗林中寮溪水質研究

A Study of Streamwater Quality in the Chungliao Creek of Liukuei Experimental Forest

林業試驗所自1997年起,在六龜試驗林進行森林生態系經營示範計畫,中寮溪集水區爲其中一部份,包括六龜1、2、3林班,面積約759 ha,平均坡度60%,沿著中寮溪主流由下而上,設有四處水文監測站,每一監測站所含集水區面積分別爲721(CL-1)、464(CL-2)、137(CL-3)及18(CL-4)ha,自1999年l月起,每月月初固定至四處水文監瀲站調查流且,並取水樣攜回實驗室分析,另於1999年6月5-7日梅姬(Maggie)颱風時,於CL-1測站調査沆量及水質。結果顯示,中寮溪流量豐枯水期變化至爲明顯,8月時流量最高,4月初時流量最低主要受到降雨分佈影雸,中寮溪水質偏弱鹼性,陽離子以Ca^(2+)濃度最高,险離子則以HCO_3^-濃度最高;部份離子濃度深受流量多寡影響,其中電導度,pH、Na^+、Ca^(2+)、Mg^(2+)、So_4^(2-)及HCO_3^-等離子濃度與流量成負相關,隨著流量增加而減少;但懸浮質、NH_4^+及No_3^-離子濃度則與流量成正相關,隨著流量增加而增加。中寮溪水量與水質資料除有助於森林生態系研究外,亦可作爲環境監測之用,提供未來經營管理之參考。

The Chu crack watershed (759 ha) with an average slope of 60% is a part of Liukuei Experimental Forest, and also is a demonstration site for forest ecosystem management fulfilled by Taiwan Forestry Research Institute from 1997. Four hydrologic monitoring stations were established along the Chungliao creek in 1999 to collect hydrologic data, including streamwater quantity, quality, and sediments. Discharge was measured every month by using a current velocity meter. Water samples were also sampled every month and brought back to the laboratory for chemical component and suspended load analysis. In addition, we investigated water quantity and quality at the Chungliao creek varied through out 1999. The highest discharge appeared in August due to storm and typhoon events, while the lowest discharge occurred in the beginning of April. Streamwater chemistry of these four stations is closely related to discharge. Conductivity, pH, Na^+, Ca^(2+), Mg^(2+), SO_4^(2-), and HCO_3^- in streamwater decreased with increase in discharge. However, suspended load, NH_4 andNO_3 increased with increase in discharge Such data of stream water quantity, quality, and sediments are not only useful for forest ecosystem research, but also for environmental monitoring.
