河川型態與河床演變一直是河川治理規劃工作的主要研究內容之一,而河川分類更可作爲探索複雜的河系與集水區之間相關問題之基礎。本研究從相關之前人研究出發,提出適合台灣本土化之河川分類方法,從河川集水區整個流域形態及網狀河系的分析著手,分別對主流型態、橫斷面、河床質、流量等特性作詳盡分類,將河川分類體系劃分爲五層:第一層(河系特性)、第二層(主流形態)、第三層(橫斷面特性)、第四層(河床質特性)及第五層(流量特性)。並應用本方法作曾文溪流域之分析,經由五層之分類研究,可將曾文溪主流部份區分成7段,分別建立其分類型態,並針對各層分類提出規劃治理對策之建議。
The river morphology and fluvial processes are an important aspect of river planning and restoration. The use of stream classification system is an attempt to simplify what are complex relationships between streams and their watersheds. This research provides a better stream classification system in Taiwan by referring to previous research. The scheme is primarily to analyze the basin characteristics and network of watershed and the whole system including the five levels as: level I (network characteristics), level II (main stream type), level III (cross section type), level IV (bed form materials) and level V (discharge property). To apply this classification to Zeng-Wen River Basin could set up the classified stream type for the five levels respectively and the main type of stream of Zeng-Wen River was also classified into 7 sections, which have their description in morphology. Finally, the proposal for river planning was offered on the five levels individually.
