胡麻新品種台南1號之育成

A New Sesame Variety Tainan No. 1

摘要


台南1號胡麻新品種為本場針對豐產、高油脂、抗倒伏等目標而選育,本品種於民國72年秋作在品種觀察試驗選出台南黑選系1號。隨即於民國73~77年間進行品系及區域試驗、病害檢定、栽培密度與肥料試驗及油品成分化學分析,結果顯示,本品種屬中熟品種,莖桿粗壯,抗倒伏,黑色籽粒,區域試驗二年平均籽粒產量春作1,217公斤/公頃,秋作941公斤/公頃,較對照包藁種增產12及13%,油脂含量52~56%,並具有豐產而穩定及高油脂含量之特性,適於嘉南地區春、秋作栽培。栽培密度行株40至50公分,株距20公分,施肥量每公頃氮素60公斤、磷酐54公斤及氧化鉀60公斤。台南黑選系1號於81年11月18日經農林廳召集之農作物新品種登記命名審查通過,命名為台南1號准于正式推廣。

Tainan No.1 is a newly bred sesame variety with black grain and medium maturity, which was developed in November 1992. The results of regional yield trials showed that Tainan No.1 was a stabe high-yielding variety. It performed well in both spring and fall crop seasons. It was also characterized with strong culm and was resistant to lodging. The results of chemical analysis and sensory evaluation showed that Tainan No. 1 had high oil and with good quality in both crop seasons. It will be a good variety f or widely cultivating in sesame production in Chia-Nan area of Taiwan.
