摘要

小果番茄『臺南亞蔬六號』係臺南區農業改良場與亞洲蔬菜研究發展中心，合作育成的優良品種，經品系試驗、區域試驗、整枝試驗、密度試驗、抗病性檢定、地方試作，顯示具有豐產、質佳、耐熱性強、省工、耐儲運、中抗萎凋病、耐頂葉黃化捲曲病毒及番茄嵌紋病毒病等特性。於民國八十五年七月經臺灣省政府農林廳召集之作物新品種命名審查小組審查通過，予以登記。本品種的育成，係民國80年亞蔬中心自農友種苗公司之雜交一代小果番茄聖女品種中自交，採收其F2種子，後裔分離與選拔採用系譜法，於民國82年選出自交系，代號為CH154。民國82年進行品系初級試驗，83年進行品系高級試驗，其產量皆優於對照品種聖女。83年臺南場自亞蔬中心引進CH系列的5個育成品系，進行區域試驗，其中CH154在83、84年區域試驗，春作、夏作及秋作其平均產量均較其它參試品系及對照品種高且穩定，隨後進行地方試作，CH154每公頃平均產量達50.77公噸，較對照品種之25.45公噸，增產99.49%，尤以夏作差異顯著，顯示該品種對夏季環境適應性極佳。本品種屬半停心型，種子千粒重為1.4～1.8公克，生育日數短，僅需120～150日。耐熱性佳且不易裂果，推廣後可適於本省雲嘉南地區周年栽培。

Based on the results of a series of trials including regional yield trials and on farm demonstration trials, a cherry tomato line CHT154 was named as Tainan ASVEG No. 6 in July 1996 and released to farmers by the Tainan District Agricultural Improvement Station. CHT154 was developed by the Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center through pedigree selection from the progenies derived from Santa, a commercial F1 hybrid. Tainan ASVEG No. 6 with a trade named ”Summer Red” is a semi-determinate type cherry tomato bearing small oblong fruit of 7~10 g similar to Santa. It is heat tolerant, resistant to Fusarium wilt, and tolerant to top yellow leaf curl virus. It has the characteristics of uniform fruiting and easy picking which save the labors in harvesting. The mean yield of Tainan ASVEG No. 6 in 1994~1995 regional yield trials was 50.8% t/ha in 120~150 days compared to 22.5 t/ha of control variety Santa. It outyielded the control variety by 99.5%. It has good adaptability to Yun-Chia-Nan area particularly for summer production. Details of the processes of developing Tainan ASVEG No. 6 and the results of various field trials are presented and discussed in the paper.
