甜玉米臺南26號之育成及品種特性

摘要

甜玉米臺南26號為新育成單雜交品種。原品系代號為PSC952052，自民國95年起進行新品系組合力檢定試驗，再經新品系比較試驗、新品系區域試驗、官能品評、果穗籽粒理化性分析等試驗，於100年1月6日命名為臺南26號。臺南26號果穗碩大，植株性狀整齊，抗倒伏且穗位適中，有利人工採收。對葉都病害如葉斑病及銹病屬於抗級。株高在春作平均表現為208公分，秋作平均為193公分。採收期於春作為73～90天，秋作為74～113天，屬於中熟品種。果穗鮮嫩可口，籽粒可溶性固形物達14～16°Brix，風味口感俱佳。每公頃含苞葉鮮穗產量可達23,000公斤，比華珍增產47%，是豐產及適應性廣之甜玉米優良品種。

Tainan No. 26 is a single cross variety which released by Tainan DARES in 2011. It performed high fresh ear production in yield trial and showed good performance in regional trials and sensory evaluation trials etc. The new variety has strong plant and high fresh ear yield with husk about 23,000 kg/ha, good ear shape and good eating quality. Tainan No. 26 also has good resistance to rust and leaf blight. It is an intermediate maturity sweet com and also suitable to be cultivated in Yun-Chia-Nan area.
