台灣現生植物與史前陶片的矽酸體分析

摘要


利用植物矽酸體進行考古研究是考古學中重要的方法,近年,台灣考古學界也開始實驗研究稻米矽酸體,並藉以探討台灣史前農業研究的相關問題。本文主要實驗對象包含台灣若干現生植物如稻米、竹類、芒草與蘆葦等,以及台灣北部幾個重要遺址如大坌坑遺址、芝山岩遺址、圓山遺址與十三行遺址等之史前陶片。主要目的在於建立台灣各種具扇狀矽酸體植物之基本資料庫,並檢視台灣北部各史前文化之代表性遺址陶片中的扇狀矽酸體,以做為後續討論史前農業關係之基本材料。

Plants phytolith analysis is an important research method for the study of archaeology. Rice phytolith analysis has been applied in the related issues on the research of Taiwan's prehistoric agriculture in the recent years. In the article, the subjects examined include certain Taiwan's living Plants -rice, bamboo, silver grass , reed, and the potteries unearthed from the archaeological sites in northern Taiwan Tapenkeng culture, Yuanshan culture, Chihshanyen culture and Shihsanhang culture. Our goal is to establish a database of various kinds of Taiwanese plants with fan-shaped phytolith, and also to examine the fan-shaped phytolith within potteries unearthed from the prehistoric cultures of northern Taiwan, in order to study further on prehistoric agriculture.
