臺灣三角楓之學名訂正

Revision of Acer buergerianum var. formosanum

摘要


臺灣三角楓在現今學名的使用仍無法統一,故本文希望藉由文獻回顧及分子技術的應用,釐清學名使用上的困擾並提供本分類群之分子證據。本文的分析結果顯示,臺灣三角楓與樟葉槭的關係較廣義的三角楓更近。又臺灣三角楓及樟葉槭可產生天然雜交,故臺灣三角楓與樟葉槭應可以歸為同一種。本文建議將臺灣三角楓合併至樟葉槭之下,將其學名轉移為Acer albopurpurascens Hay. var. formosanum (Matsum. et Hay. ex Koidz.) C.Y. Tzeng & S.F. Huang。

The scientific name used for Acer buergerianum var. formosanum is still confusing. Main purpose of this paper is to determine its relationship based on molecular evidense and to clarify the scientific name of this taxon by reviewing published literatures. Our analyses suggest that A. buergerianum var. fonnosanum is more closely related to A. albopurpurascens than to A. buergerianum var. buergerianum. Besides, plants suspected to be hybridized between A. buerge rianum var. formosanum and A. albopurpurascens has been recorded. In consequence, they are considered to be conspecific , and Acer albopurpurascens Hay. var. formosanum (Matsum. et Hay. ex Koidz.) c.Y. Tzeng & S.F. Huang trans. nov. is here proposed.
