The Freshwater Cladocera: Families Sididae, Bosminiidae, Daphniidae, Moinidae, IIyocryptidae, and Macrothricidae (Crustacea: Branchiopoda) of Taiwan, with Description of a new Species Daphnia ueno sp. nov.

摘要

1994至2006年在臺灣地區採樣淡水枝角目水溞，除盤腸溞科之外共發現6科13屬26種，其中包含1個新種及16個首次在臺灣正式紀錄的物種，其分別是6種Sididae: Sida crystalline (O.F. Muller, 1776), Neodiaphanosoma celebensis (Stingelin, 1900), N. volzi (Stingelin, 1905), Diaphanosoma dubium Manuilova, 1964, D. sarsi Richard, 1894, D. excisum Sars 1855; 1種 Bosrninidae: Bosmina longirostris (O.F. Muller, 1785); 12 種Daphniidae: Scapholeberis kingi Sars, 1903, Daphnia similoides Hudec, 1991, D. cucullata Sars, 1862, D. obtuse Kurz, 1874, D. ueno sp. nov., Simocephalus heilongjiangensis Shi and Shi, 1994, S. serrulatus (Koch, 1841), S. cf. vetulus (O.F. Muller, 1776), Ceriodaphnia cornuta Sars, 1885, C. eriodaphnia dubia Richard, 1894, C. laticaudata Muller, 1867, C. quadrangular (O.F. Muller, 1785); 3 種Moinidae: Moinodaphnia macleayi (King, 1853), Moina micrura Kurz, 1874, M. macrocopa (Straus, 1820); 1 種Ilyocryptidae: llyocryptus agilis Kurz, 1878; R. 3fi Macrothricidae: Guernella raphaelis (Richard, 1892), Macrothrix spinosa King, 1853, M. triserialis Brady, 1886。

This study is based on the freshwater cladocerans collected in Taiwan, exc luding the offshore islands, from 1994 to 2006, Besides Chydoridae, we found 26 species (including one new species and 16 new recordings) in 13 genera: six species of Sididae : Sida crystalline (O,E Muller, 1776), Neodiaphanosoma celebensis (Stingelin, 1900), N volzi (StingeIin, 1905), Diaphanosoma dubium Manuilova, 1964, D, sarsi Richard, 1894, and D, excisum Sars 1855; one species of Bosminidae: Bosmina longirostris (O,E Muller, 1785); 12 species of Daphniidae: Scapholeberis kingi Sars, 1903, Daphnia similoides Hudec, 1991, D, cucullata Sars, 1862, D, obtusa Kurz,1874, D, ueno sp. nov＂ Simocephalus heilongjiangensis Shi and Shi, 1994, S, serrulatus (Koch, 1841), S, cf. vetulus (O,F. Muller, 1776), Ceriodaphnia cornuta Sars, 1885, C dubia Richard, 1894, C laticaudata Muller, 1867, and C quadrangular (O,F. Muller, 1785); three species of Moinidae: Moinodaphnia macleayi (King, 1853), Moina micrura Kurz, 1874, and M. macrocopa (Stra us, 1820); one species of Ilyocryptidae: Ilyocryptus agilis Kurz, 1878; and three species of Macrothricidae: Guernella raphaelis (Richard, 1892), Macrothrix spinosa King, 1853, and M. triserialis Brady, 1886. In this paper, we describe and illustrate each of the above-mentioned species, as well as provide a key to the families, genera, and species.
