博物館展示吸引力、互動性與訊息傳遞:探究「愛地球特攻隊兒童探索展」展示設計成效

An Analysis of Effectiveness on the Children-friendly Exhibit of National Taiwan Museum

摘要


晚近,世界各國博物館莫不致力於發展符合觀眾需求、興趣的展示方式,目的是希望拉近觀眾和展示訊息間的距離,以達展示與學習的雙重目標。然而,如欲見展示成效,其核心前提乃在於展示的物件或展示手法是否能有效吸引觀眾的注意力。國立臺灣博物館(以下簡稱臺博館)於2012年6日至2013年4月期間,針對兒童觀眾學習特性,規劃展出「愛地球特攻隊兒童探索展」,策略性使用「互動式展示手法」以期能夠吸引學習者主動參與,並提升對展覽內容之接受度。本文以該展為案例,以IAE觀眾反應程度設計量表,記錄、分析兒童觀眾的參觀行為,輔以訪談法,藉以檢視該展展示設計的成效。研究結果顯示具備趣味性、探索性及知識性三項特質的互動性展示設計,不僅較能吸引兒童觀眾注意,並且有助於訊息的傳遞。

Since 80's, the museums have spared no effort to meet visitors' needs by providing friendly-designed and diverse exhibitions to serve the purpose of education. However, the effectiveness of education rely on visitors' active engagement which plays an important and initial role at the exhibition. The National Taiwan Museum conducted an exhibition "The Green Team: Discovery Show for Kids" from 2012 to 2013. It was designed to stimulate children's curiosity to discover and explore within the context of an interactive learning environment. This article surveys the effectiveness of the exhibition by observing children's behaviors bio IAE (Ignore, Attend, and Engage) scale and interviews. The research indicates that devices designed with involvement of joy, exploration and knowledge would enhance the attention of children effectively, as well as learning.
