摘要

本研究旨在育成適合台灣地區氣候條件及市場新奇多樣化需求之長壽花新品種，試驗以國內市場流通之10個品種為雜交親本，經由雜交育種，以選育出符合育種目標之優良新品種。其中長壽花新品種‘桃園1號’（原品系代號TYK02009），係'Rako'及'Tenorio'之雜交組合後代所選出，其花色為較亮之紅色，小花徑較大。長壽花新品種‘桃園2號’（原品系代號TYK02010），係由'Tenorio'及'Rako'之雜交組合後代所選出，其花色為紅色，小花瓣捲曲，整株之小花數多。兩個新品種之生長勢強、穩定性佳及適應性廣，適合作為9－15公分盆徑之盆花產品。經觀察試驗、品系試驗、區域試驗及各項特性檢定，均表現優異。兩個新品種皆已取得我國之植物品種權，品種權利期間由2008年3月27日至2028年3月26日。

This study was conducted to breed and select the new cultivars of kalanchoe to meet the climate and various marketing requirements in Taiwan. Ten cultivars were used for cross breeding. Through out a series of experiments, two elite lines TYK02009 and TYK02010 were selected, registered and released as new cultivars 'Taoyuan No.1' and 'Taoyuan No.2', respectively. 'Taoyuan No.1' was obtained by crossing 'Rako' and 'Tenorio', and was characterized with bright red color and large flowers. 'Taoyuan No.2', with parents of 'Tenorio' and 'Rako', has red color, curved petal and many flowers. The unique color, strong growth habit, good stability, wide weather adaptation, and suitable for a range of pot flowers were the advantages of these two new cultivars. The plant breeder's rights for new cultivars 'Taoyuan No.1' and 'Taoyuan No.2' were approved and effective from March, 27 2008 to March, 26 2028.
