摘要

改良式逆行充填器是由汞齊裝送器（amalgam carrier）及填壓器（plugger）所組成。裝送器是利用口鏡柄做成，其前端有一管道與口鏡柄成45度角，管道具有二個開口，上寬下窄；填壓器則是將牙科用探針之尖端削平而成。在使用這種器械時，要視根尖窩洞之大小而選擇適當之裝送器及填壓器。
使用這種改良式逆行填充器械有下列優點：
1.製作簡單，操作容易。
2.汞齊裝送器使用時較不受視野、根尖窩洞大小之影響。
3.可用於前、後牙。
4.可避免汞齊脫落於根尖窩洞四周。
5.根尖窩洞可獲充分擠壓而達到密封。

The modified instruments consist of an amalgam carrier and a plugger. They are made with the shank of a mouth mirror (for carrier) and a dental probe (for plugger). The modified amalgam-carrier has a channel with two different orifice sizes in the working head. The channel is at a 45º angle to the shank. The sharp tip of the dental probe is cut into the flat end as a plugger. When the instruments are used, the adaptation of the amalgam carrier and plugger is very important.
The advantages of these modified instruments can be stated as follows:
(1)These instruments can be easily fabricated and manipulated.
(2)The amalgam carrier can provide adequate visibility of operation field and access to the root canal.
(3)They can be used at both the anterior and posterior teeth.
(4)Spill of amalgam over or into the surrounding bony cavity can be avoided.
(5)Sufficient apical seal can be achieved easily.
