Calcified Chronic Subdural Hematoma: A Case Report
鈣化慢性硬腦膜下血腫：病例報告
摘要
鈣化慢性硬腦膜下血腫十分罕見。本文報告一43歲男性病人，其時發性癲癇發作達4年之久，且藥物無法得到良好的控制。入院接受一系列頭部X光，電腦斷層攝影及腦血管造影檢查，證實為一左側大腦由額葉延伸至枕葉之凸面型鈣化之慢性硬腦膜下血腫。發生出血的原因不明，可能為先前輕微頭部外傷引起，經外科行全摘除術後，長期之癲癇情形獲得痊癒。本文為手術成功治療之少見例。

This report will discuss a case of calcified chronic subdural hematoma, a rare entity, found in a 43-year-old male patient with a four-year history of poorly controlled seizures. After a serial examination upon admission including skull X-rays, computed temography (CT) scan, and a cerebral angiogram, a large, calcified subdural hematoma was discovered over the left fronto-parieto-occipital region. The actual etiology was unclear, and a definite history of antecedent head trauma was not confirmed. The patient is in excellent condition and has made rapid recovery following total evacuation of the hematoma.
