摘要

倉鼠腎上腺髓質除了含腎上腺素〔adre - nalin ( A)-〕 和含正腎上腺素〔noradrenalin ( NA）-）之細胞外，尚觀察到有第三型含顆粒小（SGC）細胞存在，這型細胞之特徵是：細胞大小屬小型（直徑約15μ m）及位置靠近含腎上腺素（A）-細胞，細胞質內有豐富的、多形態、緻密核心的細胞質顆粒（306士44.5 nm × 204.5士58.3 nm，平均值士標準誤），這些顆粒的超微構造和含正腎上腺素之顆粒相似，但顆粒之大小較小，顆粒之內含物具有中等至高等之電子密度，這些含顆粒小細胞之細胞質含有短的斷面之粗糙內質網和一些核糖體。

In addition to adrenalin (A)- and noradrenalin (NA)-containing cells in the hamster adrenal medulla, a third type of small granule-containing (SGC) cells was identified. These cells were characterized by their small size (about 15 im in diameter) and location adjacent to A-cells. Numerous pleomorphic dense-cored cytoplasmic granules (306±44.5 nm X 204.5±58.3 nm, mean±standard error) were present in their cytoplasm. The ultrastructure of these granules were similar to that of NA-containing granules but smaller in size. The granular inclusions of the granules were moderate to high in electrol density. The cytoplasm of the SGC cells contained short profiles of rough endoplasmic reticulum and some free ribosomes.
